根据基本科学指标数据库(Essential Science Indicators,简称ESI)2025年5月8发布的最新数据显示(2025年5月8日更新,数据涵盖10年2个月:2015年- 2025年2月),本期共有9718家研究机构进入ESI全球前百分之一,我校Computer Science计算机科学首次入围ESI学科前1%,该学科共有WOS论文198篇,总被引5487次。此外,我校还有Engineering工程学进入ESI学科前1%,如图1所示Engineering工程学共有WOS论文229篇,总被引4280次,篇均被引18.69次。

图2为我校ESI入围学科每期全球排名和发文量情况,本期全球共有2685所机构进入了ESI分类Engineering工程学学科前1%,我校Engineering工程学学科排位第2444位,发文229篇,比上一期2494位提升50个名次。本期全球共有836所机构进入了ESI分类Computer Science计算机科学学科前1%,我校Computer Science计算机科学首次入围全球排811位,发文198篇。

为了计算我校各学科与ESI前1%学科的差距,基于ESI提供的学科阈值和InCites提供的学科被引频次,给出被引量的相对位置的计算公式。在近似的时间下,被引量的相对位置=该学科的被引次数/入选该学科的阈值。(阈值指进入ESI某学科排名前1%的最后一名机构的被引频次)。由于选取InCites数据集(InCites数据集更新于2025年5月7日。包含Web of Science标引内容2025年3月31日)晚于ESI数据涵盖数据范围2025年2月28日,实际发文量和引用量略有增加,会导致潜力值比实际略微偏高。
